Pan Pacific Singapore wins Singapore Green Hotel Award 2015

The Pan Pacific Singapore has been conferred the Singapore Green Hotel Award 2015, a biennial award administered by the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA), together with the National Environment Agency (NEA), Public Utilities Board (PUB), National Water Agency, Building & Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA) and Singapore Tourism Board.
The Singapore Green Hotel Award, which is presented once every two years, was first launched in 2009 and additionally serves as an encouragement for the industry to embrace an eco-friendly environment for guests and employees.The award recognises the green initiatives implemented by hotels in Singapore. 

Pan Pacific Singapore’s eco-friendly initiatives include Soap for Hope, a soap recycling project involving the collection and donation of unfinished soap bars, reprocessing and sterilising them and donating them to rural areas and communities in South-East Asia. The hotel also has in place a programme to feature environmentally friendly amenities, as well as initiatives to conserve resources by offering guests the option not to refresh their towels or bedlinen daily, amongst several other efforts.

Being eco-friendly is just one of the ways we make our contribution to society, in addition to other CSR activities,” said Gino Tan, General Manager of Pan Pacific Singapore.
